Lucknow: The Department of Botany, Shia P.G. College, Lucknow successfully organized an extension activity on April 11, 2026, on the theme “Clean Earth, Green Earth.” Students of B.Sc. (Botany) II Semester participated enthusiastically in the program.
Under the guidance of Prof. Sayyed Husain Asgar Kajmi, Head of the Botany Department, along with faculty members, students carried out an awareness rally around Sitapur Road. Through the rally, they sensitized local residents about environmental cleanliness, plantation, and conservation of plants.
The initiative highlighted the importance of a clean and green environment and encouraged the community to adopt sustainable practices
